The Story of FORMANI

FORMANI is a Dutch family business from Maastricht that has grown into an internationally recognised designer brand for architectural hardware — door handles, window fittings, cabinet hardware and bathroom accessories.

Its philosophy fits in three words: obsessed with details. Architecture and interior design are experienced through movement and interaction, and the handle is the one element of a building you actually touch every day.

Every piece is machined from solid stainless steel and finished in satin, polished, black or PVD tones of gold, bronze and champagne — finishes that are matched across the whole collection so a door, a window and a cabinet can speak the same language.

FORMANI works with leading architects and designers: Piet Boon (ONE, TWO, INC and ARC), Zaha Hadid Design, Gensler, David Rockwell and Bertram Beerbaum among them. RIVIO received the iF Design Award in 2024 and ELEEZ in 2026.

FORMANI는 네덜란드 마스트리흐트의 가족 기업에서 출발해 세계적으로 알려진 건축 하드웨어 디자이너 브랜드로 성장했습니다. 도어 핸들, 창호 철물, 가구 손잡이, 욕실 액세서리를 만듭니다.

철학은 세 단어로 요약됩니다. "디테일에 집착한다." 건축과 인테리어는 움직이고 만지면서 경험되는 것이고, 손잡이는 건물에서 사람이 매일 실제로 손을 대는 거의 유일한 요소이기 때문입니다.

모든 제품은 단단한 스테인리스 스틸 통재를 깎아 만들고, 새틴·폴리시·블랙과 골드·브론즈·샴페인 PVD 마감으로 완성합니다. 마감은 컬렉션 전체에서 서로 맞춰져 있어 문과 창문, 가구가 같은 언어로 이야기할 수 있습니다.

피트 분(ONE·TWO·INC·ARC), 자하 하디드 디자인, 겐슬러, 데이비드 록웰, 베르트람 베어바움 같은 건축가·디자이너와 협업합니다. RIVIO는 2024년, ELEEZ는 2026년 iF 디자인 어워드를 받았습니다.
